Electrical Equipment Calibration
Electroservices cover all the calibration and repair needs required by Electricians and Maintenance Departments alike.
Using the latest Fluke 5320A Multifunctional Electrical Tester Calibrator with Load and HV Adapter Electroservices undertake the calibration of Loop, Insulation, RCD Testers, PAT Testers and Multifunction Installation to the original manufacturers test procedures.
Our capabilities also cover the calibration and repair of all makes and models of Flash and Hipot testers as well as Oil Test Sets. Using our fully isolated remotely monitored High Voltage Test Area we can generate up to 50Kv dc and 25Kv ac with a measurement capability of 100Kv dc and 35Kv ac allowing for the calibration of instruments such as Live Line Detectors and High Voltage Probes/Dividers.
Our automated multimeter calibration systems use Datron and Fluke Calibrators allowing for total specification cover from analogue meters right through to top of the range 7.5 digit multimeters and within our UKAS facility we can calibrate the best 8.5 digit multimeters with very low uncertainties. We have over a 1000 multimeter specifications pre-programmed covering hundreds of makes of meter from Avo to Yu Fong (we haven`t seen a make of meter beginning with Z yet!).
Further automated system using the Datron 1281 multimeters allows for the calibration of resistance boxes, shunts and power supplies - these systems alone are currently pre-programmed with over 700 specifications.
Further instruments covered include electrical power meters, single and 3-phase, AC & DC load testers, Power Quality Meters and Harmonics Testers.
General Purpose Test Equipment
General purpose test equipment typically covers a frequency range from DC to 1GHz and is the range of test equipment for which Electroservices was originally set up to service from its conception. All Electroservices engineers are trained to and capable of repair and calibration of GPTE. Typical equipment covered includes Standard Resistors, Resistance Boxes, Shunts, Power Supplies, Oscillators, Pulse Generators, Timer Counters, Oscilloscopes, Analogue and Digital Multimeters, Attenuators, Amplifiers, Signal Analysers etc.
Specialist fields have been developed within this frequency range that include Audio and Television test equipment and RF Test equipment.
All forms of temperature measuring devices and thermocouples can be calibrated including infra-red thermometers and thermal imaging cameras using Flukes latest Black Body Calibrators.
Electroservices also maintain chemical humidity standards to allow calibration of humidity probes at fixed points based on first principles through chemical reaction.
