Retirement of Jane Rushton

Following 18 years of excellent service by Jane Rushton for Electroservices, during which she has seen the Company increase in personnel from fifteen to a peak of seventy five and increase turnover from around £250,000 per annum to £7,500,000, Jane has decided to retire from her position as Finance Director.

Jane is now preparing to go to sunnier climes to watch the Ashes and hopefully bump into old Friends.

We all wish Jane the best for the future.

Fund Raising

Since the start of Duncan's fund raising efforts and his Sponsored Trek to Everest Base Camp for the British Heart Foundation Duncan has been working hard to raise as much money on their behalf as possible. With all the support from his friends and colleges he should smash his initial target.

Board of Directors

Since the retirement of former Director Roger Bradley and the indication by Jane Rushton that her retirement is impending the Board of Directors have been considering options for the best way forward to ensure the current successful Company ethos and approach is maintained for the future.

From the 1st October 2010 the board will grow in number to 7. Simon Plant, Robin Jones, Jane Rushton will be joined by Andrea Pugh, Duncan Richards, Katherine Thompson and Thair Khayat.
The new members of the Board will all have the title of Director and also continue their current roles within the Company.

Along with the new appointments Dave Bryceland has had a promotion to Technical Manager and will help support the Technical Director both internally and externally. These changes are deemed as extremely important especially with the impending relocation and will help ensure a stable experienced Board of Directors is maintained for the future.

UKAS Transfer

Following the closure of Electroservices (Instruments) Ltd the Telford office has strived to meet the rigours UKAS requirements. In September Electroservices Enterprises Limited was approved for continued UKAS calibration under Laboratory Number 0126.
